Scholarships

There are many scholarships out there for students graduating from high school and those that are currently in college.  One place to start is to go on the Internet and start searching.  Some will ask you a bunch of questions in order to tailor the search to scholarships that pertain to your background and/or field of interest.  In addition to the Internet, other places to look or ask are:

  • Your high school counselor.
  • College you are planning to attend.
  • Your department (in college).
  • Community organizations.
  • Big companies (i.e. K-Mart, Coca Cola).
  • Your church.
  • Parent’s employer and/or union.
  • Scholarship booklets.
  • Books listing available scholarship from all over the nation.
